HOW TO REACH NAPLES, ITALY


AIRPORTS

Departure Airport:

Major international airports in North Carolina, such as:

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)

Connecting Flights:

There are no direct flights from North Carolina to Naples.
You'll likely connect in a major European hub such as:

New York (JFK) or Atlanta (ATL) for transatlantic flights.

European hubs like Paris (CDG), Frankfurt (FRA), or Rome (FCO).

Arrival Airport:

Naples International Airport (NAP).

Duration: Typically, 12–15 hours, depending on layover times.
Two connection flights necessary on any routes.

Airlines: Delta, American Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, or ITA Airways often operate these routes.



TRAINS

Fly to a major Italian city such as Rome (FCO) or Milan (MXP).

Take a high-speed train to Naples:

From Rome: Frecciarossa or Italo trains (~1 hour).

From Milan: Frecciarossa (~4.5 hours).


HOW TO REACH OUR HOTEL

Towers Hotel is located in Castellammare di Stabia, about 30 km southeast of Naples and only 20 minutes from the Church

1. By Train

  • Train Type: The Circumvesuviana train is a regional railway connecting Naples to towns along the Sorrento Peninsula, including Castellammare.

  • Departure Station: Napoli Garibaldi Station (located within Napoli Centrale).

  • Frequency: Trains run approximately every 20–30 minutes.

  • Duration: About 30–40 minutes.

  • Cost: Around €3–€4.

  • Note that you need to catch a taxi from the station to the hotel

2. By Car or Taxi

  • Route:Take the A3/E45 Autostrada towards Salerno.Exit at Castellammare di Stabia.

  • Duration: Approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Cost:Taxi: ~€50–€70 (negotiate fare or confirm on a meter). Rental Car: you can book your car at Naples Airport with the most common rental companies

  • Advantages: direct to hotel

3. By Ferry (Scenic Option)

  • Ferry from Naples: Seasonal ferries operate from Naples' Molo Beverello or Calata Porta di Massa ports to Castellammare.

  • Duration: ~40–50 minutes.

  • Cost: Around €10–€15.

  • Advantages: Scenic views of the Bay of Naples.

  • Note that you need to catch a taxi from the port to the hotel
